Piecing the Peaces was an artistic research on the process of recovery through physical theatre and dance. Funded by Creative Scotland, Daniel J. Irizarry, director of One-Eighth Theater in New York, collaborated with Thania Acarón and performers Mhairi Allan and Katie Armstrong to integrate the use of sounds and acting mechanisms into contemporary dance. They worked on the project as a result of a residency supported by Dance Base, National Centre for Dance in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2013.
